The duties of IBPS is to recruit candidates on behalf of 20 Public Sector and Regional Rural Banks for various posts through competitive exams and Interview. With the help of IBPS thousands of the candidates are deployed in various Public Sector banks.How many banks comes under IBPS?
Earlier there were 19 Public Sector banks for which IBPS will do recruitment. Later Regional Rural banks joined the IBPS. Now it is happy to say that recently one more bank called ECGC (Export Credit Guarantee Corporation) has joined in the IBPS network which will double the job opportunity in IBPS.
